Team falls 5-4 with two Tiebreaks

Our Team fell today at St. Christopher's School 5-4 in hard fought matches.  The weather was beautiful, the wind was finally nominal in mph, and the boys thoroughly enjoyed their close competitive matches.

Mariano Corona is improving each week and played very well at #1 Singles winning 8-4.  He also teamed up again with Holden King and they won at #1 doubles.  Ward Bissell stayed undefeated winning in a close tiebreaker over his opponent.  Michael Deng and Will Keller won at #2 Doubles and Jack Hollon and Trip Hurley also won their doubles match.  Will Keller came back from a 5-2 singles deficit and fought hard but lost in a close, intense tiebreaker.

Mariano is serious about his game and it's beginning to show on the court.

Nice Win @ Collegiate

Boys came through 6-3 yesterday against a very tough, very consistent Collegiate team.  Holden King  at #2 singles fell behind but played well in clutch to come back for the win.  Michael Deng continues to play well and won at #4.  Ward Bissell and Mason Roberts won at 5 and 6 respectfully.

Mariano Corona and Holden King won at #1 doubles.  Mariano also played well at #1 singles but lost in a close match.  Mariano is working, as is everyone else, on how to set up a point and rally to close it out.  Michael Deng and Ward Bissell played very well and won at #3 doubles.  Ward continues to glide around the court.

Cartter Crosland, Jack Hollon, Guillermo Castille, and Gunby Garrard.  Gunby won his exhibition singles match with a convincing 8-0
